public works

An early portrait of public works (Kathrin Bohm, Torange Khonsari & Andreas Lang L-R)

Public Works began in 1999 as a London-based artist/architect collective. They are active primarily in the public realm, their work showing how social networks can inform cultural work in the spheres of planning and regeneration as well as art.

In working with Grizedale they helped develop the 'Creative Egremont' project, designing the mobile local museum, the 'Folk Float' (2007).

They have also contributed to the ongoing project of the Honesty Stall at Lawson Park and co-produced the Village Produce Films during 'Agrifashionista.tv' (2008)
