Coode-Adams

For his residency in 2000, Ben Coode-Adams worked with the Barrow Sixth Form College and helped the students create a sculpture trail through the forest; it looked just as good as the existing one and was very popular with the visiting public.

Ben went on to produce a work based on tents and mountain exploration, which was shown as part of ‘A Different Weekend’.

Ben also collaborated with Barrow Council to produce an interactive bench for the city centre, which people could sit on and select audio tracks inspired by the people of Barrow.

He has gone on to do numerous commissions in ‘the public realm', producing figurative sculptures made with galvanised mild steel.
