Who We Are

Adam Sutherland (Director)

Adam Sutherland became the director in 1999 from art.tm in Inverness, before which he worked in London as a freelance artist, curator and producer. He has overseen the development of the organisation from forest sculpture trail to internationally-active arts organisation.
Adam has a longstanding commitment to helping art and artists become a part of everyday life: a standard expectation to live and work creatively. It's a modest aim.

Tracy Hodgson (Finance Manager, p/t)

Tracy works for both Grizedale and the Coniston Institute and is based in the Coniston Institute. She is responsible for the financial management of both organisations and also co-ordinates the bookings of the Institute. Tracy is a smallholder with a particular enthusiasm for Boxer dogs.
