2011

The residencies and artist commissions for this year have been based around the development of the Coniston Institute and village in way that will increase the resources and activity within the village.  The Institute, founded in 1852, is proposed as a renewed cultural centre for Coniston and the Crake Valley, whilst providing a model for museums, galleries and communities in the wider world.
