Dear Karen,

I did the school lying workshops last week with Jimmy and Cliff, and Audrey helped on one day too. Had a top time. The stories were great, really varied- from aliens to rabbits swimming the channel. Jimmy and Cliff picked two winning groups from each school. I think Jimmy and Cliff really enjoyed themselves. Jimmy had the kids telling dirty jokes. The groups that were picked seemed really excited about coming along to the festival, so I think you should get a good turn out.

Just a few questions. How many people can each child bring with them- 2 would seem fair? There are 21 winning children. Also I said that the teachers are invited as they were really helpful, and will be useful on the day. I hope thats o.k? So you could end up with quite a few folk, but the theatre can seat a fair few-is that o.k? I've managed to blag ninety free animal posters (not the pine marten -they must be too special) so every child that entered the competition at the schools will get a prize, which was over ninety kids.
All the kids seem dead keen to turn up to the festival so you shouldnt need to use it. So here are the names of the stories that won- Nutkins the squirrel and her tail. Forest fights. Jimmy old cracher. The long lost child. The fox's tail (tale) Liar Liar.

They sound great, and they are great! The whole project has been really enjoyable, so its looking good for September. If someone can get back to me this weekend about numbers, Ill be able to get those invites sorted.

All the best - emma.
