Jay first worked with Grizedale as part of 'Happy Stacking'. For the project she collaborated with local food producers to design Crochet packaging for their products. These were shown in 2009 as part of 'Can Art Save Us?', an exhibition on Ruskin, organised by and shown at the Millennium Galleries, Sheffield.
Elsewhere, Jay often makes performances and installations, and has produced discussion series and events, concerned with ritual, migration, craft and ways of living.
